Laureen Gutierrez

Dear Fellow Republicans,

I am the voice of the people who, for decades, have been taken for granted by the Democrat Party. If the Democrats had their way, they would have silenced me before I was ever born, as they do every day to those they deem “disposable” or “inconvenient.” My voice cuts through Democrat stereotypes and false narratives. I will never be bullied into silence, and the Democrats will never be at ease as long as Republicans like me take a stand and speak out.

I was raised by a heroic mother who was left on her own at the age of 27 with five young children. She inspired me to think for myself. She taught me to stand up for myself. She didn’t preach, she led by example. My mother lit the flame of conservatism in my heart. My love for freedom was engendered by her independence. With her as my mentor, I became interested in all things political. I couldn’t wait to be old enough to vote, and when I finally reached that milestone, I voted Republican.

Importantly, I have lived on the Western Slope for my entire adult life. The Western Slope is cowboy country, and lives and breathes the spirit of rugged individualism. These qualities define the best of Colorado and the Republican Party. With rich energy resources, agriculture, wineries, semi-pro baseball, world-class winter sports, a regional healthcare hub, and as the new home of the Bureau of Land Management, the Western Slope is key economically and politically on the state and national level. I will bring fresh ideas, insight and experience as your representative

Friends, my love for liberty, country, and Republican values runs in my blood. I can never be bullied, bought, or dissuaded from the precious truths I have held throughout my life. You can trust me to be your unwavering voice in Washington, D.C.

With deepest devotion to G-d, Country and Liberty
